This year we have a variety of chicks: 8 new chickens
Buff orphington, Americanas, Road Island red, Speckled sex link, Golden sex link, Barred rock, and a Silver wyandotte. All are known to be pretty great layers.
Our coop is not completed yet, but close to done. It will be ready long before our chicks are big enough to be put in it.
No free range of the yard and garden this year!
This was one of the first eggs that we got a few years back when my son started caring for the chickens-exciting & tasty!
