
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) Lavender has a wonderful scent, makes for excellent dried flowers & blooms all summer.
- Once established lavender is a very hardy plant & can with stand cold hardiness (-30 to -40).

Oriental Poppy (Papaver) This is an early spring bloomer, which adds nice bright color to the yard first thing in spring. Often you can get lucky and get a second bloom at the end of summer as well.

- Cold hardy~requires a winter chill to bloom each year

Foxglove (Diditalis) A perfect addition to almost any garden & a must have for those who like heritage plants. Foxglove makes for excellent tall accents behind boarders or to a woodland garden.

A fabulous Perennial.
They die back during the winter and begin to return at the start of spring.

Chives
Chives make a great come back each year, although: they tend to spread rapidly. So if you don't pay attention they may spread more than you prefer. Pick a space for them wisely.
